Price it right: a seven-week, one-company pricing course

You pick one real company in Week 1. For seven weeks you learn how a manager should price its products. At the end, you write the CEO a memo that says what to do. Every page on this site gives you a tool for that memo.

How a week works

Every week has the same steps, in this order. Steps 1–3 are on this site. Step 4 is in Moodle.

  1. Watch — one short video per concept (5–8 minutes each; three or four per week).
  2. Try — the interactive chart on each concept page. Move the sliders until the sentence under the chart makes sense to you.
  3. Check yourself — quick questions on each concept page. Instant feedback. Not graded.
  4. Do in Moodle — Practice Homework, your Playbook page for your company, and two comments on classmates’ pages.

Perloff & Brander, Managerial Economics and Strategy, 4th edition. Each week page lists the textbook sections that go with each concept. Read the concept page first; the textbook adds depth and more examples.

Due dates, homework, grades and the Playbook Gallery are in Moodle. Questions go to the anonymous Question Box in Moodle.
